It's summer again!

Wow, the weather can not make up it's mind! It was in the 90's yesterday here in Kansas. Crazy. I am soooo ready for fall weather. I love the clothes, the temperature and of course..Halloween! That has got to be one of my favorite holidays.

Not too much going on here. Still buying keywords at Kooday. Still hoping it works out in the long run. My pal and I started a traffic builders forum and are working on promoting that site. I figured that the traffic exchange and social media type folks needed a forum that wasn't filled with matrix programs and hyips. Time will tell. If you'd like to take a look and post some of your favorite traffic builders, it is called TrafficBuzzz. Cute name huh? If you decide to join, we have a promo running. We will post your banner on the forum for one week FREE. Pretty good deal. Just pm Honeybee once you have joined and made a forum post. Yes, you need to post to qualify. I imagine everyone has a traffic builder program or two they would like to build.

So, I notice a ton of advertisements for that PayBox thing. I don't think it is on the level, but not sure what they would be trying to accomplish. Maybe collecting email addresses? Anyway, I wouldn't waste a ton of advertising credits on it. Can't see how it could possibly be legit. Use some common sense before getting carried away with anything, ok?

Ok, off to play fetch with the pooches. Talk soon.

Happy Labor Day!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. My American friends are enjoying a holiday this weekend. It's great weather here in Kansas, hope it is that nice everywhere!

I spent a good portion of the past few days working on a new forum with my pal Lisa. She had a great idea to start a forum for traffic programs only. This would include social marketing sites along with traffic exchanges, safelists and the like. I thought it was an awesome idea. We finally got it finished yesterday. Now to work on marketing it. Ought to be an easy sell in the surfs. If you'd like to take a peek, it is called TrafficBuzzz.

Kooday is still hanging in there. They had to switch pay processors to Alert Pay so it slowed things down a bit. I think it will pick up. If they had just started with that in the first place, this thing would be AWESOME. It's still pretty dang good. You should check it out if you haven't.

Ok, time for bed here. Tomorrow is a holiday, but I will be working!

Fall is in the air!

It's still hot here, but with football on television now I can just FEEL fall coming! I even pulled out some of my fall clothes in anticipation of the long awaited cooler weather. I love fall don't you? Weather is great, football is on, the Internet springs back to life...I mean what is not to love?

Speaking of love, I am still in love with my Kooday. This is just so much fun! I see the potential down the road if things go as the owners plan. In case you are considering it, here is what you need to do. First off, click on my(or whomever) link and sign up. Then, you will need to fund your Kooday account with at least $5 via paypal. $1 of that goes to fees, which leaves you $4 to purchase key words with. This is the fun part! Try to figure out what key words you think will have value in the future. Don't get too attached, others may come to the same conclusion and buy them from you. That of course, is immediate gratification and profit! I'm doing well with the immediate income part, now need to look toward the future and pick some true value key words. There is a Kooday discussion forum that just opened that might help you with questions and tips.
You can always write me as well. I am always glad to help. Take a chance, it's only 5 bucks!

I joined a few pre-launch free things. If I get an inkling that they will be good ones, I will let you know. Signing off for now, Sunday night football is on!!

Playing around....

Well, it's too hot to go outside, so I am working away on a few things. I realized that I was pretty far behind on loading my TripleYourList leads into my Google Group. Like very far behind. What was I thinking? I mean it's the perfect way to increase one's list and yet I was months behind! Caught up now, but it took a bit of time to get there. Other than that, just looking around at stuff. I need to clean house but haven't been motivated to do that yet.

I'm toying with starting a Safe List. There are a bunch of places you can do one cheap and easy. Just not sure how effective or attractive they are. Guess it won't hurt to try. I am more convinced than ever that owning sites is the way to go. I am tired of all the cheesy programs out there. Looking for something with a little substance, ya know? Starting one's own sites seems to be a better option than throwing away money and dealing with "drama". I mean a little drama can be entertaining, but....

I'm still having a great time with Kooday. I started with $5 worth of key words and my cash out request was for $65. Not bad at all.

I am off to explore. I feel the urge to create today. (:

YIPPEE!!

I am still having a ton of fun with Kooday that I mentioned earlier. I think this program could go the distance. They are supposedly working to build a search engine based on the keywords and linked sites that members add. I started by putting in 5 bucks and bought tons of keywords for 10 cents. Several of these are now selling for upwards of 20 bucks. My balance is now up to $52 which is a pretty good return on my 5 dollars. I requested a payout for $25. This is sort of like daytrading, but with key words. I love this thing!!

Anyone join that Instant blog site? I am still up in the air on it, but it's free, so I did it. Not sure anyone reads my blog posts. ): I started one about life's embarrassing moments. Maybe no one else has those.......

Joined a new team. I love teams. I was a leader in one several years ago, which is how I got into all this online stuff. I just had to join this one as it's name is so close to the one I was in before. This one is called Rising Phoenix Team. Pretty good plan and some nice folks. I still miss my old team. I met some great individuals. Some of them have moved on now, hope they are doing well. Online friends are sometimes like that...here one minute, gone the next.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Drop me a line if you have something interesting going on.

Gadzooks!

Wow, I am having fun with that site I told you about yesterday. Kooday is really entertaining! I have sold multiple keywords since I last wrote about the site. I have some referrals now, so I am getting a kick out of watching the pennies roll in when they buy a keyword. Notice I said pennies. This is not a "get rich quick" site so if that is the type of thing you go for, don't bother. I am interested to see how this all turns out as the site grows. It is still in Beta, so bound to get even better. Did I mention it is also a profit sharing site? Really, take a look. It's fun if nothing else. Don't forget to hook your favorite sites up to any keyword you bought.

Now, on to something that I have been doing for some time. Here is an excerpt from a post I made in my forum:

If you are not actively building a list of contacts, you are not serious about being successful online. There are ways to do it without subscribing to an autoresponder service. Those can be confusing and somewhat expensive. Building a list is also time consuming. But, there is a fairly easy way...google groups. Each of you has Google and the capability of starting your own google group. I would strongly recommend that as the easiest way to start building a list. You can set it up where you are the only one who posts, thus your posts end up being emailed to those that are in your google group. How to get people in your google group? Easy, you can import emails from various places. You can not add too many at one time, I usually do three at one whack. You get these addresses from people who have joined under you in programs. I usually add them and it prompts for an email send. You can write and let them know they have been added to your group as you are their upline in "blah, blah, blah". They have the option of unsubscribing, but I find most do not. From then on, it is up to you to send them things of interest to build your reputation with them. Do NOT send them "crap". They WILL unsubscribe if they figure out that all you care about is a referral and do not have their best interests at heart. Ok, enough of that. Here is another FREE way to add names to your list EACH week. The program is called TripleYourList and it DOES work. I get on average 6 names to add to my subscriber list a week. Same thing as I earlier said, the email I send for this particular group mentions that I received their name through TripleYourList and that is why they have been transported to my google group. They are in it for the same reason I am, so most stay. Actually, I can not think of any from my TYL group that have opted out. Give it a try. Give the google group thing a try. It works.

Interesting stuff today!

I was a busy bee today, lot's of interesting stuff came out. Where to start....

First, I was perusing a forum and for once was in the ptc section. I saw a site that looked different. I signed up for free and the next thing I knew, I was buying keywords and linking my sites to existing keywords. DOH! What a sucker I am. But...read on. The site is called Kooday. Their goal is to build a search engine. Here is a blurp from the site:

Our ultimate goal is to become a competitive Search engine and we are taking a different and refreshing approach. Other Search engines use a bidding system and pay-per-click fees to link websites to keywords. (like Google Adwords) This is how they make most of their money and have gotten very rich. Kooday is not going to compete with these types of rules. Kooday is making it completely affordable for anyone to link their website to any search word.
Anyone can link their website to any keyword by purchasing the KeyWord or if the KeyWord is too expensive they can simply pay a very small fee to the owner of the KeyWord. Kooday allows any person to own Keywords. This means that you make the money when someone wants to link their website to KeyWords. We are unaware of any other Search Engine that allows its members to own, control and profit from KeyWords. (Ownership of KeyWords pays!)

Now, I really did not expect much, but the keywords I bought were around ten cents, so I figured I was not losing much. Next thing I knew, I had sold three of them!! I also spent a few cents linking some of my sites to some existing keywords. Very cheap. I figure it is a very small investment and just might end up being a pretty good thing.

The second thing I did was join InstantBlogSubscribers. I'm still figuring out how it works, but so far it seems pretty cool. You can make a blog and they promise that you will have at least 200 readers; more if you upgrade. I figure to join for free and give it a shot. It certainly seems to be popular. I've probably received 20 email ads for it since signing up. No harm in giving it a try!

Ok, well I think I will go see if there are any other interesting keywords to buy. (:

Take care,

One more thought...

During my surfing today, I ventured over to Sweeva. Now, you may not care for traffic exchanges but...you can watch the sites as they go by, read the comments and really learn about what makes people notice your ad. And you. You will soon see that the ads that are the most popular are also branding the promoter. Just see what sort of reaction Arvell Lewis gets from his ads as they go by. Not only are his ads good, but you really just want to go out for a beer with this guy. Now THAT is the way to market. I guarantee you he does well. Go look.

Setting goals.

As I do not have a ton to talk about reference any craziness happening, how about we talk about goals...Do you set goals? Some people shudder at the very thought, for that takes some planning and thinking. But really, you can set short term goals and that is not hard at all. For example, you have a notepad set out and write what you want to accomplish for the day. For the sake of argument, let's talk about online stuff. So today is Sunday. My list consists of making a blog post, surfing some traffic exchanges and searching for some new smileys for the forum. Once that list is done, I can then move on to my more lofty goals of site development. I guess the point of making a list of goals is so that you are not spinning aimlessly about wasting time. It also gives you a sense of accomplishment to complete your goals. Long term goals are a little trickier as you DO have to spend a little time figuring out what you hope to accomplish. Not that that is a bad thing, it is just a skill that many people do not have. Try spending just a bit of time with a pen and pad. You might find it helpful in planning your tasks, both today's and ones for the future.

Ok, so enough of that. I am still doing the marketing stuff, just being very picky. I'd like to stop hopping from thing to thing...for the most part I have been successful. I have learned that it takes a lot of energy to do that with little reward. The way to have success online seems to be in developing sites that offer interesting information or product. So yeah, that is a long term goal. Still seeing some interesting sites from time to time. There are some pretty creative people out there. I am MORE than impressed with Sweeva. Those guys are pretty darn innovative. If you have not stopped by and looked at it, please do. Very nice.

Well, off to do some offline stuff. The weekend seems to fly by. Need to spend a bit of time with the dogs outside as the weather has finally cooled off. They would love to play a little fetch. Course last time we did, my boy dog peed on the ball we were tossing about. One has to wonder what the heck they are thinking sometimes. Does he really think I am going to be excited about throwing that around now???

Waz up?

Boy, the summer months are really, really slow. The forums are dead, not much going on. Even the folks opening programs every week seem to be taking a break. It is so hot here in Kansas I can't quite seem to focus on much other than staying cool. I think I am ready for fall!

I have joined a few things that look like they could possibly be long term, we'll see how it goes. One of them that looks particularly promising is called RevUp31. You can look on the site where I bought it and watch some interesting videos about Resveratrol. They've got interviews with the guys who discovered it, interviews on 60 Minutes, and a bunch of other ones. It might go the distance, time will tell.
Other than that, I have been working on a project to be unveiled later. Lot's of ideas are floating about in my head, just need to figure out how to pull them off! Making friends with a good programmer might be in order. (:

Did I tell you my dog ran away? Little brat figured out how to get out of the gate and ran off. He paid for his misbehavior by getting hit by a car. The lady that hit him rushed him to her vet. He was just bruised up, but somewhere along the way he lost his tags. Needless to say, I did not know where he was for FIVE days! It was a miserable time but I finally saw a poster with his mug on it. Good to have him back.

Well, off to do a little house cleaning.

ShinelightTraffic and Sweeva!

Happy Sunday!

Well, I am a bit tired of many of these matrix type programs out there. Has anyone noticed that the same admins are opening program after program? On top of that, they seem to stack the deck with their favorite folks before announcing it. No wonder some are making all the money huh? Been on both ends of that one so I know how it works. But if I told ya, I'd have to kill you. Craziness. Gotta love it.

I am having a great time exploring new methods of making contacts and gaining quality traffic to my sites. There is a new traffic exchange that I really like called ShineLightTraffic. It is a nice looking place and there is a chat bar if you are so inclined. There are tons of extras with this site.

I've talked about it before, but you need to take a look at Sweeva.

It's hard to say enough about that site. You simply MUST try it. If you make your own splash pages, the folks here will tell you what they think. Nice to get tips on how to improve.

I've already seen some amazing results from it. It's not like anything you have ever experienced before but what is so cool is that it's very easy to set up and get working for your web site. It took me about 5 minutes to sign up and get started....
Be sure to check it out and experience what Sweeva calls 'social browsing'. You surf with hundreds of other members, you get to rate sites as they appear and you can network with like minded individuals.

Ooops, I almost forgot you get rewarded from rating sites, viewing sites and commenting on sites. Extremely cool site. Give it a try.

One other site that is worth mentioning and is also free...is a program in pre-launch called ClickMyAd. This is not open yet, but might be interesting. It looks like a Paid-To-Click type program with some twists. It's free, so I signed up. Looks like a nice site. The owner has some other programs out there and is a stand-up guy. His others were matrix programs, so we will see how he does with this type.

Well, gotta run. I am experimenting with that new traffic exchange browser, TEBrowser. Not sure if I like it or not. Sure makes it fast though.

womVegas and Sweeva!!

Hi all,

Boy, I can heartily recommend womVegas and Sweeva. I joined both these programs this week and just love them. WomVegas is a new social networking site that isn't quite ready yet, but you can still join. Works on a Vegas theme where you can spin the roulette wheel, roll the dice and play craps for advertising points. There will be some sort of moneymaking when it launches, but for me, the socializing is the fun part. Well, so is playing the games. This has proven to be an excellent place to make new pals AND hear about new opportunities and other news. I really like it. I would strongly encourage you to join for free and look around.

The other new program is a traffic business called Sweeva. It is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It is the creation of several big traffic exchange owners. The gist of it is you surf for credits and you bid to get your site seen. Now the really neato part is that people watch and comment on your site in real time. You get to chat with them as the view it and make remarks. This is an outstanding way to both make new friends and explain your business. Again, I can not recommend this highly enough. It is also free with an upgrade option. Join free and see what you think. I believe you will like this. Probably the way of the future.

Ok, off to see what other cool things I can find. Talk later.

Happy Sunday! I found some cool stuff.

I've neglected my blog far too long. But I am back now. I was busy starting my own online program. It was fun, but time consuming. That and offline stuff and has kept me hopping here lately. But I am back and will be better.

I've been looking around the net today and found some very cool sites. If you are a big forum poster, this first one would be awesome to use as a forum signature as it allows you to list all your blogs, websites, social networking sites, skype etc...all in one place. Too cool! Free to join, take a look at my contact page and join if you wish: Diva's contact page. I can think of a ton of possibilities for this.

Ok, my second site is KillerStartUps. Again, free to join and extremely cool. The site reviews new starter apps and lists them for folks to vote on. I found a couple I want to try in my Internet Marketing world. Trust me, you will enjoy looking around here.

Speaking on Online Marketing...anyone else notice how NOTHING sticks around anymore? I've also noticed that more and more program owners are opening up programs every week. Duh. What is up with that? I could name a few, but I will be nice. I used to have some respect for one of them, but it is dwindling rapidly. Hard to think the best of folks who open a new program every week. But then they too are falling victim to the "here today, gone tomorrow" mentality that seems to be taking over I guess. Perhaps I am just being sentimental about the old days where programs lasted and teams worked them hard. Maybe those days will return, but I doubt it. Not until someone comes up with the perfect opportunity that no one can resist. Let me know if you have an idea on that. (:

Well, enough for today. I hope you enjoy the two sites I listed. I sure did.

Well heck...

Nothing real exciting to write about. I joined a few "fun" things and did well with them. Not real keen on posting many of them these days as nothing seems sustainable. Maybe the tide will turn and folks will decide to spend some time building programs rather than jumping from one to another. Dunno if that will happen, we can always hope.

One of the opportunities I did join that has good product and very dedicated admins is AcademyTeamSolutions. I know one of the admins from my forum. He is a very good guy. They are working hard there to provide good tools and training on those tools. Take a look. This is one I am happy to tell folks about. Hope they do well with it, they are certainly dedicated.

The dogs keep bugging me to play fetch. As it is dark outside and cold, guess that means we will be jumping and playing on the furniture inside. Spoiled things...wouldn't be so bad if they were little dogs.

Beautiful day!

Boy, it is lovely outside today. Nice change after all the sub-zero temperatures of last week. Got me motivated to do some chores that have been neglected. I haven't spent too much time online looking around, but am still actively working on my neobucks and the Game of Change. The neobucks is starting to look pretty interesting the more referrals I rent. Once my 30 days is up, I'll let you know if I think it is worth it to join. My first impression is that it is going to work out nicely. The Game of Change is set to go online at the end of the month. Right now, I am not completely clear on how it all works. Hopefully it will all sink in soon.

Nothing too exciting in the surf or hyip world. I am dabbling in a few, but geesh, they are so fickle these days I don't want to recommend anything to folks. Seems everything has a shelf life of about two weeks, INCLUDING all those fun little programs. Like a moth to flame, I keep joining a few of those. As you can imagine, the success rate varies. I am lucky enough to be on several admin lists, so often get early notifications. That certainly comes in handy, especially with cycler programs.

I'd really like to start my own online program. If you have any thoughts or ideas on the subject, drop me a line.

Happy New Year!

Hey all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the New Year. Anyone made any resolutions? I have a few, one is to get more organized with my time. So much to do......

Here are a few different things that I am trying for the new year. I joined a PTC site, neobux. I am renting referrals and clicking 4 sites a day. It's a different system and I am still trying to get used to it. If it looks like it will work out well, I will share my strategy. Until then, be patient.

I have also joined a program called Game of Change. It's interesting and I am still figuring that one out as well. It has not gone online yet, but I am betting when it does it will be awesome. It is just now starting to catch on. Private invite only at this point. A gal named Mimi started a teambuild on it at the Diva forum. That's probably the way to go with this program. I'll keep you posted on it as well.

Those are the only items of interest for me to share today. Nothing else to exciting. I have dabbled in a few cyclers and sort of given up on Revenue Share programs. They are just TOO boring. Anyone out there have anything interesting to report?

Take care!
